This program is led by two trainers: Luca Botturi and Vanessa Viganò. They are both entrepreneurs and have experience in entrepreneurship training (they are also cousins, but this is not so relevant…).



Luca was born in Milan (Italy) in 1977, and moved to Switzerland as he was 18 for attending the brand-new University of Lugano. After his degree in Communication Sciences, he pursued a doctorate in Educational Technologies, which he completed in 2003. He worked as trainer, consultant and researcher in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Canada and the US. In 2007, with his colleague Isabella, Luca funded seed, and NGO for which he is executive director and project manager. For seed, Luca worked in two EU projects on entrepreneurship, and in development programs in Ecuador, Mexico and Croatia. Luca is also currently director for research at the local teacher training university.

Vanessa was born in Milan (Italy) in 1983. When she was a teenager she planned to be an actress, then a surgeon then a criminologist. Finally she attended the faculty of Communication sciences at the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano (Switzerland), where she  took her bachelor degree in 2006. During her studies she started working as a jewellery designer, together with her partner Marco, and web designer, with her schoolmate Alan. In 2008 she opened a jewellery shop with Marco and from 2009 she works as a web project manager for the swiss government and as a freelancer. In 2010 she enjoyed in supporting Luca during the “Ser emprendedores” project in Ecuador.
